The House That I Built: The First Nervous Steps

Just want to apologise that I’ve hardly been around the last few weeks, it’s been a roller coaster of highs and lows…. but I have some exciting news. You can probably guess by the name but I have had an offer accepted on a house. I’m still in a little bit of shock as its been a bit of a whirlwind adventure. After only week of looking, I found the perfect Victorian terrace house, which I was able to view twice in one day.

As soon as I walked in, I knew. I got the butterflies you see so many times on these programmes. What followed was a weekend of nerves, I felt sick. I did not want to lose this house.

So, as you can imagine doing what I do, I literally cannot wait to get those keys. I’m strangely excited about removing all the awful wallpaper. This is going to be one big adventure, and maybe hopefully one day my front door will look like this…

Hello…again!

Its a been a few weeks since I started writing this blog, and I’m finally getting used to it. I’m constantly thinking about what the next post will be and when I can sit down and write it. But it’s not all about the posts, I’m constantly looking at my blog and looking for ways to make it more pretty. So, i just want to say a big Thank you to Kira at from Her New Leaf for my extremely pretty social media buttons, I love them, even though they are quite right yet!

Talking of social media, I’ve been twittering for a while but have finally had the chance to set up my Facebook page so if you haven’t had a look already please go and have a peep and like away!

Thank you to everyone who has been reading, I hope it’s been enjoyable!
